1. What we collect

Snowfall Holiday Effects is a Shopify app that adds seasonal animations to your storefront. We collect and store only the minimum necessary information to operate the service:

• Shop configuration — your store domain and the effects, schedules, triggers, promos, and settings configured in your app dashboard.
• Privacy-safe analytics events — aggregate counts of effect displays and visitor engagements (e.g. impressions and engagement counts). These events contain no personal information, no customer identifiers, no full URLs, and no cookies.

We do not collect or store customer personal data (names, emails, addresses, orders, or payment details) from your store.

2. How we use data

Your shop configuration is used solely to render your activated effects on your storefront and display performance metrics in your dashboard. We never sell or share merchant data.

3. Data retention

Shop configuration is retained for as long as the app remains installed. Analytics events are retained for a rolling 90-day period, after which they are automatically pruned. When you uninstall the app, all associated database records are permanently deleted.

4. GDPR & Compliance

Because we store no customer personal data, we are registered with Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Any shop-owned configuration is deleted upon uninstall or request.
